I just ordered The Orientalist (based on saussy's recommendation and on finding myself enthralled after reading the first few pages) and Fred in Love (based on the fact it has a very, very cute picture of a kitty on the cover and is set in New York). The last 24hrs have been really frickin fantastic. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every single second of the entire period.
